Cladding Options

As well as being the home's first line of defence, the exterior design also creates the first impression for everyone visiting. To provide you with design flexibility, each of our homes is available with your choice of Standard, Premium, or Feature cladding.

 
 
 

Standard cladding

All Genius Homes prefabs come with Weathertex cladding as a standard inclusion. Available in a wide range of colours and finishes, Weathertex is made from 97% hardwood eucalypt timber and 3% paraffin wax for enhanced weatherproofing.

 
 
 
 
 

Premium cladding

Our premium range of cladding is an upgrade on our standard inclusions and has been expertly designed for New Zealand environments. The first option is Colorsteel, which is a high quality long run steel made from rich New Zealand ironsand. The second is Zincalume, which is steel coated in a zinc and aluminium alloy for added corrosion-resistance. 

 
 
 
 
 

Feature cladding

To create a stunning finish on your new home, we can incorporate high-quality hardwoods like cedar or macrocarpa. This offers warmth and texture to contrast other cladding products, tying the entire design together.
